Banned Books Week Event - Update

In honor of Banned Books Week, the Dallas Chapter of the ACLU of Texas will provide literature to the Dallas Public Library for use in connection with its Read-In scheduled for September 26 at the branch at Skillman & Southwestern.

The Dallas Chapter will not be presenting a program of its own in connection with this event, but the literature we are providing will include information will address the history of Banned Books Week and discuss issues of censorship and the importance of the freedom to read and exchange ideas.
